paper — Kedārakalpa, description of Kedāra (Kedāranātha), a well-known devotee of Śiva
Temple in Garhwāl, description of the pilgrimage sites and liṅgas on the way to Kedāra,
and the mountain peak Mahāpantha or Mahāpatha. With Mahāpantha both becomes the last
Destination for the pilgrimage as well as the work (Śivakalpa) that deals with it. Supposedly from the Vidhvāntapurāṇa (Legends Without Darkness), a probable
fictitious title. 21 Paṭala, in a dialogue between Śiva and Kārttika (Mahāsena).
The work as a whole agrees with Nandipurāṇa, which appears in Catal. Oxon. Number 137
is described, but is significantly abbreviated (21 versus 27 chapters). Aufrecht also writes that "The text [...] has been changed many times, sometimes through
