With red accents - black, red - paper - First part (Adhyāya 1-20) of the Vājasaneyisaṃhitā, Saṃhitāpāṭha, Mādhyandina school. According to Weber, one of the most beautiful manuscripts in the Chambers collection. The Vājasaneyisaṃhitā is a collection of ritual formulas in 40 chapters (Adhyāya)
and belongs to the White Yajurveda; It is recorded in two reviews: that of the Kāṇva
and that of the Mādhyandina School. On f. 1a there is also the handwritten note by R. Chambers, title in English:
“Yajurvedeah sumhita sesoora”.
