On the last sheet there is a stamp from a previous owner in a different, but old, script:
nāgeśajakeśavapaṇḍitasya. Purchased in Benares in 1883 — Same work as No. 233, namely Mānavadharmaśāstra with Medhātithi's commentary,
called Manubhāṣya. Used for my text edition of the Mānavadharmaśāstra (as "M.5")
and for my Manuṭīkāsaṃgraha in the Bibl. Ind., Calcutta 1885-90, where after this
Hs. and eight other Hss. Excerpts from adhy. 1-3 of Medhātithi's commentary given
are. The ms. only contains adhy. 3-8 and 10-11, all in special pagination. In
adhy. 8 missing 1-14. About the state of the Medhātithi-Hss. see Bühler SBE. XXV, p.
