In the margins there are further prophetic traditions and Xiaoerjing glosses - The text begins - without a heading or Basmala - with a prophetic tradition,
those with (dialectal) Chinese shenren (= shengren) shuo (圣人说 = the prophet says)
The traditions beginning with shenren shuo or faṣl are followed by Chinese translations
and explanations of other prophetic traditions, some without Arabic. Text quotations, among other things, deal with the
