The decision about the front or back of the sheet is only made after identification
of the text may be possible. A pagination <I>süü</I> "Foreword" and the associated
standing addition to an old Turkish Buddhist work with a foreword/foreword,
is, for example, from the so-called "Petersburg manuscript" and the Berlin fragment
Mainz 123 (VOHD 13.10 # 1) from the AYS. The text praises the spread of Buddhist religion
Teaching the Mahāyāna and the four Āgamas in a monastery. The name of the monastery is
not recorded in the surviving text section. The personal names (Chinese origin)
of the three people mentioned (<I>bahšı, sözči, bäg</I>) have not yet been documented.
