Sections were added in the margins by the scribe's hand (the first
Headline a.R. from f. 1a reads bāb, kullu maulūdin yūladu ʿalā l-fiṭra) — Dark blue half-leather strap; the lids covered with marble paper — Arabic script → Naskh — paper — compilation of prophetic traditions with indication of the isnād, to different ones
