Notes red Corduan band — small, even, clear, pleasingly not vocalized except for sheets 2 - 17, these are entirely vocalized Headings in red — black, red — Arabic script — paper — The majority of the manuscript comes from a genealogy of the ʿAlīds, beginning with ʿAlī Ibn-Abī-Ṭālib. At least the first 8 sheets are missing. Only the first page of the ms. belongs to the "Kitāb Abrāz al-ḥikam min ḥadīṯ rufīʿa al-qalam" (كتاب ابراز الحكم من حديث رُفٍع القلم) of Taqī ad-Dīn Subkī, whose title is on f. 1a stands. f. 1: Beginning of the treatise Ibrāz al-ḥikam min ḥadīṯ "rufiʿa 'l-qalam" by Taqī-ad-Dīn as-Subkī on Muḥammad's saying: "rufiʿa 'l-qalam ʿan ṯalāṯa ...".

Al-Hafiz told us Imam Abu Muhammad Abd al-Mu'min bin Khalaf bin Abi al-Hasan bin Sharaf bin al-Khidr bin Musa al-Damiyati, may he rest in peace Hearing him say etc. — f. 271a Al-Amri said that he and his brothers Muhammad, Abdullah, and Suleiman would remain in Egypt and the Levant, but this was the last thing we wanted.
