| Notes | The most important administrative division within Türkiye is the village. Because 80 percent of the Turkish population lives in villages. Our villages are not organizations with the desired reputation. Although the Village Law was the first, all important laws dealt with the village and made essential provisions for the development of the village. Large and small authorities related to the village administration, except for those in the village, were more or less busy with village affairs, but despite this, the desired goal was not achieved. |
