Notes	In the postcard, the Julien column can be seen in front of the Ministry of Finance in Ulus Vilayet Square. On the back of the postcard is written ""belkis minaret"" in old Turkish. JULIEN COLUMN It is made of bricks in the form of circles stacked on top of each other on a square base in the small square when you turn back from Çankırı street and enter from Armutlu street. It is fifteen meters high and ends with a Byzantine Corinthian capital. There is still a stork's nest on the headboard. Although it is certain that the column dates back to the reign of Emperor Julien Apostata, it is thought to have been erected to commemorate the Emperor's visit to Ankara. It is also called the Belkıs column among the public. M.S. It dates back to the 6th century. While its first location was between the Ministry of Finance and İş Bank, it was later moved to Vilayet Square.
