Date 1944
Notes Donated by Hüseyin İnan. Four close friends from the Graduate School of Engineering, Müeyyet Berdan, Şevket Arat, Namık Sılay and Mustafa İnan, with their wives Türkan Berdan, Mebrure Arat, Ayşe Sılay and Jale İnan, while in Florya. Even though the photo was described as a "date with a couple", Mustafa and Jale İnan should only be engaged in this photo. Because the couple got married on 18.10.1944. There is also a note "Stone School" on the back of the photo. In the area in question, there is an elegant and striking building that was built in 1874 as the residence of Count Alleon and was used as a school building since around the declaration of the Republic. However, although this building is not far away, it is not in Florya today, but within the borders of Bakırköy's Yenimahalle District.
