Notes On the postcard, the girl named Sevinç, who is sheltered in the (Himaye-i Etfal) Child Protection Institution, is seen in her mother's arms (1924) and later (1928). CHILD PROTECTION INSTITUTION It was built as a two-storey building by Architect A. H. Koyunoğlu in 1926 for the Child Protection Institution, which was established by Atatürk to protect and care for orphaned children on Anafartalar Street. The building is one of the structures of the First National Architecture Period. Today, it is used as the General Directorate of the Child Protection Agency.
