| Notes | The goal of the Digillella opp portaille project funded by the European Social Fund was to promote the study and employment readiness of women with immigrant backgrounds and to strengthen the skills of professionals in multicultural guidance work. In the project, multilingual and plain language materials were produced to support the guidance work. The materials consider adults as a target group. Strength cards and I like cards are available in Finnish, Somali, Chinese, Russian and Arabic. With the help of the cards, one can identify and express one's own skills and interests. Conversation cards have been developed to support the practice of Finnish conversation phrases in various interaction situations. Concepts related to job search, education and the digital world have been collected in multilingual dictionaries. The words have been translated from Finnish into Chinese, Russian, Arabic and Somali and they support the learning of the Finnish language. A clear guide to studying is a plain-language guide that you can use to familiarize yourself with the Finnish education system and studying. The guide contains information about studying in Finland and tasks to strengthen your own study skills. The guide is available in Finnish and Russian |
