| Notes | The Hop-on book Academic Education was created as part of the learning offer [Hop-on](https://www.hoou.de/projects/hopon/preview/) and is a digital book for adult newcomers who have questions about academic education and in particular about achieving an academic degree in Germany. It is also about differences between academic and vocational training. It is published under Creative Commons and, like the Hop-on book Vocational Education and the results of the Hop-on timetable, is available for editing and further use as an open educational resource via [gitlab](https://collaborating.tuhh.de/itbh/hopon). Since Hop-on has been archived, we are making the book available here in four languages as a PDF. All translations can also be found in [crowdin](https://crowdin.com/project/hop-on-studybuch). Note: The respective status can be found in the chapters of the book.
