The General Assembly of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group met on Thursday, May 21, 1959, at 15:00, under the chairmanship of the Group Chairman, Yozgad Deputy Atıf Benderlioğlu.
The presence of the majority was determined by a roll call and the session was opened.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
Gazianteb Deputy Bahadır Dülger, Rapporteur of the Measures Commission, who spoke outside the agenda; He explained the reasons why the commission report could not be presented to the Group General Assembly.
Moving on to the questions:
The first article, "Nevşehir Deputy Münib Hayri Ürgüplü's verbal question from the Deputy of the Courthouse regarding the speech of the former Kocaeli Provincial Chairman during the 1957 election and the proceedings against him" was answered by the Deputy of the Courthouse, Esad Budakoğlu. Following the speech of the questioner and a deputy, the question was answered.
Constituting the second article;" Gazianteb Deputy Süleyman Kuranel and his four friends answered the verbal question from the Minister of Education about the three teachers in Kilis District. Deputy Minister of Education Celâl Yardimci answered, and following the speeches of various deputies and Prime Minister Adnan Menderes, the question was answered.
Constituting the Third Article; "The oral question of Bitlis Deputy Nusrettin Barut, from the Deputy of Health and Social Support, regarding the health centers to be established in Bitlis districts, was postponed to the next hearing, as the representative was not present at this hearing.
The fourth article, "Konya Deputy Ali Saim Kaymak's verbal question from the Industry and Trade Deputies about the expansion works undertaken to increase Karabük Iron production", was answered by Industry Deputy Sebati Ataman and Public Affairs Deputy Muzaffer Kurbanoğlu. Following the questioner's speech, the question was answered.
Since the time was late, the meeting was terminated to be held on Thursday, 23/5/1959 at 15:00.
