The General Assembly of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group met on Thursday, May 7, 1959, at 15:00, under the chairmanship of Denizli Deputy Baha Akşit, one of the Group Chairmen.
By polling, it was determined that the majority was present. The session was opened. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
Sinop Deputy Ömer Özen, who spoke outside the agenda; C.H.P. He requested the Deputy of Internal Affairs to give an explanation about the events that took place during Chairman İsmet İnönü's return to Ankara today. And Deputy of Internal Affairs Namık Gedik gave the necessary explanation on this issue.

Manisa Deputy Samed Ağaoğlu's explanation was heard on the issue on which members of the Opposition requested a Parliamentary Investigation into him. Following the speech of Industry and Coordination Deputy Sebati Ataman and a few deputies on this subject, questions began.
The first item, "Nevşehir Deputy Münib Hayri Ürgüplü's oral question from the Ministers of Education and Communication about whether the General Manager of the State Railways was disrupting the main duty of the Head of the Football Federation, was removed from the agenda after the questioner declared that the issue had been resolved."
Industry Deputy Sebati Ataman responded to the second article, "Eskişehir Deputy Abidin Potuoğlu's verbal question from the Industrial Deputy about the Sugar company and its producer". Following the questioner's speech, the question was answered.
