The Parliamentary Group convened on July 4, 1950, under the chairmanship of Izmir Deputy Dr Ekrem Hayri Üstündağ.
The Administrative Board's proposal regarding not holding parliamentary by-elections this year was accepted.
The approval of Tokat Deputy Ahmet Gürkan regarding the elections of the headman and the council of elders was taken into consideration.
After the MPs talked about the issue, it was agreed that the issue would be examined immediately by a commission consisting of the President, Spokesperson and Secretaries of the Justice, Internal Affairs and Constitution Commissions, and the session was adjourned for 15 minutes for this Commission to work.
The second session was opened under the chairmanship of Eskişehir Deputy Abidin Topçuoğlu.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuat Köprülü gave an explanation about the Korean issue.
Then, Sedat Zeki Örs's recommendation regarding the registration of Turkish citizens living in foreign countries to the consulates was discussed. The statement of the Minister of Foreign Affairs that he had the issue investigated was deemed appropriate.
Subsequently, the description of the welfare incident was discussed. After the speeches of the MPs, it was decided to submit the proposal to the government.
Although Sivas Deputy Nazım Akaççıoğlu discussed the proposals regarding the installments of farmers' debts to Ziraat Bank, the discussion was postponed because the Minister of Agriculture was not present.
Discussion of Abdurrahman Boyacıgiller's proposal regarding military aircraft began. R.S. It was deemed appropriate for him to declare that the delicate issue would be examined and answered later.
Discussion of the proposal regarding Saraçoğlu District began. After the MPs talked about the issue, it was decided to submit the proposal to the government for examination, along with the wishes put forward during the session.
The report of the commission consisting of the Internal Affairs, Justice and Constitutional Commissions on the law of Mukhtar elections was read.
After the Deputies spoke about the issue, the session was terminated because there was no majority left to make a decision.
