The Parliament Group convened on 13.6.1960 under the chairmanship of Eskişehir Deputy Abidin Potuoğlu.
As a result of the classification of the votes, it was understood that Kayseri Deputy İbrahim Kirazoğlu was elected to the vacant Parliamentary Council Clerk position.
They stood for a minute in respect to the memory of the late Eskişehir Deputy Hakkı Çevik.
Discussions began on the removal of the legal sanction regarding the call to prayer in Turkish. After listening to Sadri Maksudi Arsal, K.Özçoban and K. Gündeş, the issue of whether the Party meetings should be open or closed was put forward.
