The General Assembly of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group met on Tuesday, October 30, 1956, at 15:00, under the chairmanship of Muzaffer Kurbanoğlu.
1- Roll call was made. Since it was seen that there was a majority, the hearing was opened.
2- The minutes of the last meeting were read. Since there was no one to speak about this summary, other articles of the list were moved on.
3- As a result of the Group Head election classification, which constitutes the 3rd article of the Rozname, it was understood that Aydın deputy Dr. Nazım Gedik was elected with 307 votes.
4- Subsequently, Group Chairman Namık Gedik came to the podium: The election of the chairmanships started. As a result of the classification, it was understood that Manisa Deputy Muzaffer Kurbanoğlu and Eskişehir Deputy Abidin Potuoğlu were elected with 291 votes.
5- The 5th article of the Rozname was started: In the Grand National Assembly President candidate election, which constitutes this article, it was seen that İçel Deputy Refik Koraltan was elected with 297 votes.
6- In the Grand National Assembly Candidate Election, Kayseri deputy Fikri Apaydın was elected with 295 votes and Bursa deputy Agah Erozan was elected with 193 votes in the first round. In the second round, it was understood that Tokad deputy İhsan Baç was elected as the candidate for the Presidency by filling the quorum with 164 votes.
7- B.M.M. In the election of candidates for council clerks: Bolu deputy İhsan Gülez was elected with 278 votes, Hakkari deputy Ubeydullah Seven received 274 votes, Kayseri deputy Ömer Mart received 252 votes, Antalya deputy Attila Konuk received 243 votes, Kayseri deputy Hakkı Kurmel received 217 votes and Van deputy Muhlis Görentaş was elected with 160 votes.
After this, Eskişehir Deputy Abidin Potuoğlu, one of the Group Chairmen, came to the Presidency.
8- B.M.M. The candidate election for Administrative Chiefs has started: The first round was canceled because it was determined that the number of votes was higher than the number of votes cast. The election was renewed. Due to the lateness of the time to declare the results and move on to other elections, it was decided to postpone the meeting to be held on Wednesday, October 31, 1956 at 15:00, and the session was concluded.
