Summary of last meeting minutes
The General Assembly of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group convened on Tuesday, 8.XII.1953 at 15:00 under the chairmanship of Deputy Chairman Abidin Potuoğlu.
As a result of the poll, it was understood that there was a majority, so the combination was opened.
1- The summary of the minutes of the last meeting was read.
2- As the presentation of the Presidency Council, the text of the causation and bill prepared by the commission on the properties unfairly acquired by the Republican People's Party was read. The orators spoke. Finally, the declaration given by Istanbul Deputies Celal Türkgeldi and Füruzan Tekil was read. In accordance with the content of this memorandum, the proposal to make it a principle decision to acquire all the properties held by the Republican People's Party, to prepare a text accordingly and pass it through the Parliament was put to vote, and the principle decision was accepted by the majority against the three opponents.
