The General Assembly of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group met on Thursday, May 3, 1956, at 15:00, under the chairmanship of Burhanettin Onat.
1- Roll call was made. Since it was seen that there was a majority, the hearing was opened.
2- Last meeting minutes were read
3- Chief; discussion of internal matters that need to be continued in the presence of the prime minister; The Prime Minister was postponed because they were traveling. Since they were not present at the meeting today, it was postponed to the next meeting.
4- Antalya deputy Enver Karan took the floor outside the meeting. He declared that it would be appropriate for the government to give an explanation about the incidents caused by some newspaper reporters in front of the Presidential mansion in Çankaya. Negotiation of the charter started.
5- Ruzname; Articles 1, 3, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, and 18 were postponed to the next meeting because there were no relevant representatives, and article 17 was postponed to the next meeting because there was no questioner. Questions on articles 2, 6, 12, 13 and 14 were dropped because the questioners were not present at the meeting twice in a row.
6- In the 4th article of the list, the deputy answered Manisa deputy Muhlis Tümay's oral question from the courthouse attorney about CHP general secretary Kasım Gülek. The questioner spoke. Discussion of the issue has been completed.
7- The memorandum of Kocaeli deputy Sefer Göksel withdrawing his question in Article 7 was read. Question removed.
Since there was no other item in the list to be discussed, the meeting was concluded on Tuesday, May 8, 1956, at 15:00.
