Last meeting minutes
The General Assembly of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group met on Thursday, April 2, 1959, at 15:00, under the chairmanship of Denizli Deputy Baha Akşit, one of the Group Chairmen.
The presence of the majority was determined by polling.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
Presentations started:
The candidate members who will participate in the European Consultative Assembly representing Turkey were elected and as a result of the election, Basri Aktaş, Hamdi Bozbağ, Hamdi 'Sağıp Atademir, Baki Erden, Kasım Küfrevi, İsmail Şener and Halim Alyot won the candidate election and since Ahmet Tokuş and Nazlı Tlabar received the same amount of votes, the draw between them hit Nazlı Tlabar. With its addition to the list, the election was concluded.
Moving on to the questions:
The oral question from the Deputy of Public Works regarding the issue of how much money will be allocated for provincial and village roads in 1959 and the supply of pipes for drinking water by Artvin Deputy Mecit Bumin and his three friends, whose negotiations could not be completed in the last meeting and which constituted the fifth item on the agenda, continued to be discussed. After the speech of several deputies, the Chief concluded the meeting to be held on Thursday, April 16, 1959, stating that there were still a few friends who had spoken and suggestions to be submitted for the decision, and that there was no decision quorum in the hall.
