Last Session Minutes
The General Assembly of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group met on Tuesday, November 1, 1955, at 10 o'clock, under the chairmanship of Deputy Bursa Deputy Haluk Şaman.
As it was seen that there was a majority, the session was opened.
1- At the end of the elections held among those who could not meet the quorum in the first round for the membership of the D.P Parliamentary Group Administrative Committee, Ankara Deputy Ramiz Eren with (199) votes, Konya Deputy Himmet Ölçmen with (188) votes, Gümüşhane Deputy Halit Zarbun with (183) votes, Diyarbakır Deputy Yusuf Azizoğlu with (176) votes, Seyhan Deputy Ahmet with (166) votes. It was seen that İzmir Deputy İlhan Sipahioğlu was elected with Topaloğlu (161) votes.
2- In the second round of elections for the council of dignity, Bingöl Deputy Necati Aras filled the quorum with (158) votes, and in the third round elections, Manisa Deputy Muhlis Tümay, with (170) votes Maraş Deputy Abdullah Ayten, with (163) votes Afyon Deputy Osman Talu, with (157) votes Sivas Deputy Şevki Ecevit Dignity Full membership of the Council,
It was understood that Kocaeli Deputy Selami Dinçer, with (162 votes) and Izmir Deputy Sadık Giz, with (158 votes), were elected as substitute members.
Due to the late hour, the meeting was adjourned to meet at 15:00 on Tuesday, November 22, 1955.
