Notes
The Democratic Party Parliamentary Group met at 15:00 on October 31, 1957, under the chairmanship of Eskişehir Deputy Abidin Potoğlu, with the Group Clerk Seyhan Deputy Dr Sedat Barı present. A roll call was made and the election for the candidacy of the President of the Parliament was held. 306 Members of Parliament participated in the election, and at the end of the classification of the votes, it was seen that 2 votes were opposed. It was observed that 303 MPs participated in the election for the Deputy Speakers of the Parliament, 295 MPs participated in the election of the Parliamentary Presidency Council Clerks, and 297 MPs participated in the election of the Board of Executive Members.
It was decided to send a delegation consisting of Sivas Deputy İlhan Dizdar, Aydın Deputy Şevki Hasırcı, Erzurum Deputy Bahadır Dülger, Istanbul Deputy Mithat Denker, Ankara Deputy Abdullah Gedikoğlu to convey the Party Group's health wishes and greetings to Prime Minister Adnan Menderes, who is ill and is being treated at his home. The delegation visited the Prime Minister at his home and conveyed the Prime Minister's thanks and greetings to the group.
As a result, it was decided that the elections of the Party Assembly Group Chairman and Deputy Chairman, Group Administrative Board and Group Honor Council would be postponed to the Group meeting to be held on Thursday, 2.11.1950 at 15:00, and the session ended at 19.10.
