Excerpt from the minutes of the last session.
The General Assembly of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group met on Tuesday, February 15, 1955, at 15:00, under the chairmanship of Hulusi Köymen.
Since a roll call was made and it was understood that there was a majority, the session was opened.
The minutes of the last session were read. No objection was found.
Meanwhile, Antalya Deputy Burhanettin Onat, who wanted to speak outside the agenda, came to the podium and asked for the report of the Parliamentary Accounts review committee to the Parliament about the Palaces to be discussed in the General Assembly. Chief Hulusi Köymen explained the reasons why the report was not included in the registration list by the Group Board of Directors.
Kayseri Deputy Fikri Apaydın took the floor and suggested that the Presidium Council would respond to your delegation to carry out on-site investigations on the issues in question in the report and that the issue should not be included in today's report. Following this, Bursa Deputy Agah Erozan's recommendation that this report be included in the first article of the draft was put to vote and accepted by the majority.
The report was read. Agah Erozan, Chairman of the Parliamentary Accounts Review Committee Salih Fuat Keçeci, Kamil Gündeş, Emrullah Nutku, Sinan Tekelioğlu, Kasım Küfrevi and Ali Ulvu Arıkan took the floor and explained their thoughts around the report.
Meanwhile, the proposal of Kocaeli Deputy Turan Güneş and Bursa Deputy Raif Aybar to reach a decision on the issue was given to the Presidency with the approval of the speaker, and Kocaeli Deputy Turan Güneş stated that there was no majority left to vote on the sufficiency of the discussion and 7 people who had already taken the floor did not use their right to speak.
