Notes Last meeting minutes summary The General Assembly of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group met on Thursday, January 29, 1959, at 15:00, under the presidency of Denizli Deputy Baha Akşit, one of the Deputy Group Chairman. By polling, it was determined that the majority was present and The session was opened. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. Rize Deputy İzzet Akçal's declaration regarding the discussion of the Personnel Law following the budget negotiations and Isparta Deputy Ali Latifaoğlu's declaration that he took back his oral question from the Minister of Education regarding the Primary Education Draft Law, the Secondary Education Staff Law draft and the teachers who could not benefit from the Law No. 6273 were read and agreed upon. It was presented. Moving on to the questions: Deputy Coordination Sebati Ataman answered Manisa Deputy Sezai Akdağ's question about the benefits of importing trucks and pickup trucks in Türkiye by Turkish Representatives and the number of these representatives, and Trade Deputy Hayrettin Erkmen answered the verbal question of the same deputy about whether there should be changes in the profit margins in the import of trucks, pickup trucks, tractors and spare parts. Following the speech of the questioner and some other deputies, the questions were answered. Sinop Deputy Ömer Özen's verbal questioning from the Trade and Agriculture Deputies about the causes of death of nearly 50 cattle, which are rumored to have died in the Atatürk Forest Farm, was postponed in the next hearing, as the owner of the report was not present at this hearing. Deputy of Finance Hasan Polatkan and Deputy of Commerce Hayrettin Erkmen gave the necessary explanations regarding Manisa Deputy Sezai Akdağ's oral question from the Minister of Finance and Commerce about the institutions named Herman Spirer, Ostro Türk, Dutch and Turkish Tobacco Company and their bank loans.
