Notes Summary of last session minutes D.P. The General Assembly of the Parliamentary Group convened on Tuesday, 11.11.1952, at 15:00, under the chairmanship of Deputy Chairman Abidin Potuoğlu. Roll call was made. Since it was understood that there was a majority, they were seated and opened. 1. Summary of the last sitting minutes was read. 2. Deceased Denizli Deputy Fikret Karabudak and Tokat M.V. were presented by the Presidency. A two-minute silence was held to honor the memories of Nuri Turgut Topçuoğlu. Following this, Hakkari Deputy Selin Seven, who was readmitted to the Democratic party, and Hatay m.v. Abdullah Çilli was presented to the group. 3. C.H.P., given by Erzurum deputy Rıfkı Şalim Burçak. Discussion was opened on Chairman İsmet İnönü's Izmir speech and the interpellation regarding the Balıkesir incidents. Members of Parliament expressed their opinions. Following the Prime Minister's statement on this issue, the proposal for adequate negotiation was accepted. At the end of the voting application, it was understood that it would be appropriate to reject it in terms of procedure and refer it to the parliament. • 4. On 19.11.1952, negotiations were opened regarding the election of ten Members of Parliament who were summoned to London to represent the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye. Explanations were made on this issue by many Members of Parliament. As a result, along with the approval of the qualified discussion, the proposal to use the lottery method in determining the members who will attend such invitations and to exclude those who have traveled to foreign countries and those who have gone this time, was accepted and in accordance with the formula of the 453rd section (R) of the budget law, twice as many candidates were nominated and as a result of the draw, it was understood that the persons whose names are written below were selected as candidates.
