Last meeting minutes summary
D.P. The General Assembly of the Parliamentary Group met on Saturday, 31.10.1953 at 10:00 under the chairmanship of Group Chairman Hulusi Köymen.
1- As a result of the poll, it was understood that there was a majority, so the combination was opened.
2- The last minutes summary of the last term and the sub-minute summaries of the extraordinary meeting were read.
3- Elections started*
a)T.B.M.M. From İçel Deputy Refik Koral for his presidency, with 230 votes,
Deputy Presidents: Fikri Apaydın (Kayseri) with 242 votes, Muzaffer Kurbanoğlu (Manisa) with 217 votes and Tevfik İleri (Samsun) with 133 votes,
To the council clerkships» İbrahim Kirazoglu (Kayseri) with 248 votes, Ömer Mart (Çanakkale) with 235 votes, İhsan Gülez (Bolu) with 208 votes, Füruzan Tekil (İstanbul) with 204 votes, Ali Ocak (Gaziantep) with 155 votes, Sedat Baran (Çorum) with 132 votes,
For the administrative positions: Mehmet Aldemir (İzmir) was elected as candidate with 230 votes, İhsan Şerif Özgen (Kütahya) with 187 votes, Ağah Erozan with 153 votes.
b) Hulusi Köymen (Bursa) for the Presidency of the D.P. Parliament Group with 222 votes •
Parliamentary Group Representatives: Abidin Potuoğlu (Eskişehir) with 213 votes and Osman Kapani (İzmir) with 162 votes;
As a result of the first round of membership in the Board of Directors of the Parliamentary Group: Mahmut Goloğlu (Trabzon) 199, Zuhuri Danışman (Bolu) 165, Kasım Küfrevi (Ağrı) 152, İsmail Hakkı Akyüz (Tekirdağ) 147 Saip Özer (Çorum) 146 Ekrem Cenani (Gaziantep) 141 Akif Sarıoğlu (Antalya) 138, Sudi Mıhçıoğlu (Manisa) and Hüseyin Fırat (İçel) were elected with 133 votes.
4- At 15 o'clock in the afternoon, the honor council election was held with the second round of the Board of Directors under the chairmanship of Chief Hulusi Köymen and as a result*
Hüseyin Ülkü (Niğde) was elected to the Dignity Council with 124 votes, Ferit Ecer (Niğde) with 111 votes, Şevki Ecevit (Sivas) with 108 votes and Haluk Ökeren (Tokad) with 106 votes.
5- The election of two members of the Board of Directors of the Assembly Group, who could not meet the quorum, and for the same reason, the election of one principal and two substitute members of the Council of Honor, has been postponed to the next meeting.
6- The President suggested to the group that the Board of Directors should be given authority for the elections to be held for the Assembly committees, as in the previous periods, and this proposal was generally accepted by the board.
7- Due to the delay, on Thursday, 12.11.1953
