Notes Last meeting minutes summary Democratic Party Parliamentary Group General Assembly on Tuesday, 7.7.1953 hours. It convened on 15th under the chairmanship of President Hulusi Köymen. As a result of the poll, it was understood that there was a majority, so the combination was opened. 1- The summary of the minutes of the last meeting was read. As a presentation by the Presidency Council, the Declaration Committee with 27 signatures and the declaration published in the newspapers by some authorized members of the Nation Party and some news showing that this party's activity was of a nature that would endanger the current permanent order in the country, was presented to the General Assembly by the General Assembly, requesting that the Prime Minister, the Ministers of Justice and the Interior explain what the Government thought and what the level of information about this activity was, and upon the majority of the votes, it was placed on the first item of the agenda. After the admission was accepted, the Prime Minister's detailed statements and explanations were listened to, following the information given by the Ministers of Internal Affairs and Justice. After a ten-minute break in the meeting, the second session was opened. 2- Tekirdağ Deputy Zeki Erataman's question regarding the Government's request for clarification on domestic and foreign policy, as the Parliament is about to go on summer recess, was read. Some Members of Parliament took the floor and expressed their opinions on this issue. It was decided that this amendment would be discussed at the next meeting. 3- In the second item of the agenda, Tekirdağ Deputy Şevket Mocan's question from the Prime Minister was left to the next meeting as he was not present. 4- In the third article, it was stated that Tokad Deputy Sıtkı Atanç took back his oral question from the Party or Group Chairman. 5- In the fourth article, Diyarbakır Deputy Ferit Alpiskender's oral question from the Prime Minister was postponed to the next meeting since he was not present. 6- In the fifth article, Ordu Deputy Refet Aksoy's oral question from the Prime Minister was postponed to the next meeting since the Prime Minister was not present. 7- In the sixth article, Ordu Deputy Feyzi Boztepe's oral question from the Minister of Internal Affairs was read. It was postponed after the questioner suggested that it be discussed together with the approval given to the Group Presidency. 3- Since Diyarbakır Deputy Yusuf Azizoğlu did not have a verbal question from the Minister of Internal Affairs in Article 7. 9- Since Trabzon Deputy Mahmut Goloğlu did not have a verbal question from the Minister of Internal Affairs in Article 3, 10- In Article 9, Ordu Deputy Feyzi Boztepe's oral question from the Minister of Health and Social Assistance was not accepted. 11- Since Kocaeli Deputy Mehmet Yılmaz's oral question from the Ministers of Agriculture and Economy is not included in Article 10. The future is left to the reunion. Since there was no other issue to discuss on the agenda, the meeting was terminated to be held on Tuesday, 14.7.1953 at 15 o'clock.
