Notes
The General Assembly of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group met on Tuesday, 31.7.1961, at 16:00, under the chairmanship of the Group Chairman, Istanbul Deputy Fuad Hulusi Demirelli.
1- Last Session Minute summary was read and classified.
2- The quarterly account summary of the Group Board of Directors was tested.
3- The oral question of Samsun Deputy Firuz Kesim, which was on the third item of the agenda, was removed from the agenda because the questioner was not present twice.
4- Niğde Deputy Necip Bilge's verbal question about the civil servants who were replaced on the grounds that they were making propaganda by the former Government was answered by the Minister of Justice. Other Members of Parliament who had questions also expressed their opinions.
6- The report of the Group Specialization Commission regarding taking a principle decision from the group regarding the text of the Constitution translated into living language in the 11th item of the agenda was accepted.
6- Erzurum Deputy Emrullah Nutku's oral questions about the Savarona yacht and Zonguldak Deputy Abdurrahman Boyacıgiller's oral questions about our modern fighter planes were left to the future agenda since the Minister of National Defense was not present.
7- There is no need to take a principle decision from the group regarding the proposal of Tokad Deputy Ahmet Gürkan regarding the liquidation of some Bartici officials in the seventh item of the agenda;
8- The oral question of Elazığ Deputy M. Şevki Yazıman, which is the 8th item of the agenda, was postponed due to the absence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs*
9- Oral questions of Bursa Deputy Halil Ayan and Giresun Deputy Arif Hikmet Pamukoğlu regarding the preparations for the 1962 budget were answered by the Minister of Finance.
10- For the proposal of Konya Deputy Abdurrahman Fahri Ağaoğlu on State affairs, the group Board of Directors formed a Commission of 16 people;
11- Oral question of Zonguldak Deputy Muammer Alakant about the principles of Statism in the 13th item of the agenda. Economy
Since the Minister of Trade and Trade was not present, the session was postponed to the next meeting and ended at 17.10.
