The General Assembly of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group met on Thursday, December 4, 1958, at 15:00, under the chairmanship of the Group Deputy, Bursa Deputy Mazlum Kayalar.
Roll call was made | Seeing that there is a majority present, the hearing
opened.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
In the Question section of the agenda, Kastamonu Deputy Münif İslamoğlu's oral question from the Deputy Health Minister about the disease that resulted in death in Kastamonu and Diyarbakır surroundings; Since there was no questioner, it was postponed to the next meeting.
In the Proposal section of the agenda, Trabzon Deputy Osman Nuri Dermioğlu's amendment of Article 92 and Article 93 of the Turkish Civil Code,
The proposal regarding the addition of paragraphs to Articles 439 and 649 was read. Some deputies took the floor and expressed their opinions. The declaration written by the proposer Osman Nuri Lermioğlu to the Presidency of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, stating that he had withdrawn the bill proposal, was read. It was understood that the said member of parliament withdrew the bill.
Since there was no other item to be discussed on the agenda, the meeting was finalized to be held on Thursday, December 11, 1958 at 15:00.
