The General Assembly of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group convened on Tuesday, 14.7.1953 at 15 o'clock under the chairmanship of Deputy Chairman Abidin Potuoğlu.
As a result of the poll, it was understood that there was a majority, so the combination was opened.
1- The summary of the minutes of the last meeting was read.
2- Presidency Council presentation possible) Party Presidency's statement on 10 July that Tekirdağ Deputy Şevket Mocan was expelled from the Party. The memorandum dated 1953 and numbered 3519/183/56 was read and submitted to the group for its destruction.
Again, as the presentation of the Presidency Council, the joint approval of Tokad Deputy Ahmet Gürkan and his friends regarding the Government's explanation due to the Chief Article of the Hürriyet newspaper dated 10.7.1953 regarding the Minister of Foreign Affairs and his Ministry was read, and it was united with the approval of Tekirdağ Deputy Zeki Erataman in the second item of the agenda, and it was deemed appropriate for the government to give an explanation on this issue as well. was seen.
3- Discussion began on Tekirdağ Deputy Zeki Erataman's memorandum dated 3.7.1953, requesting general explanations regarding the government's domestic and foreign policies. In this regard, detailed explanations were given by the Deputies of Finance, Public Works, Economy and Trade, Foreign Affairs, Transportation and Enterprises about the general national affairs that the ruling party and the government carried out in three years and planned to do next year. Following this, Prime Minister Adnan Menderes also made a detailed statement about the general politics of the Party and the Country and it was approved by the General Assembly of the Group.
Due to the lateness of the time, the meeting was terminated to be held on Saturday, October 31, 1953 at 10 o'clock, unless there was an extraordinary meeting.
