Summary of the Last Minute.
The General Assembly of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group met on Tuesday, 26.1.1954 at 15:00 under the chairmanship of President Hulusi Köyme.
As a result of the poll, it was understood that there was a majority, so the combination
opened.
1- The summary of the last meeting minutes was read.
Before moving on to the articles, Konya Deputy Hidayet Aydıner's proposal regarding the wholesale negotiation and acceptance of the Commercial Code dated 21.1.1954 and the law showing its implementation was presented to the General Assembly as a presentation by the Presidency. Proposer Hidayet Aydıner took the floor, explained his opinion and suggested that it be included in today's agenda. The President put this proposal to the vote and it was rejected by a majority.
Zonguldak Deputy Hüseyin Balık took the floor. He suggested that the Forest Law, which is on the agenda of the Parliament, be discussed as soon as possible and the Group decides on it. The President submitted to the vote the proposal to take a decision by the Group to discuss this draft law, which is on the agenda of the Parliament, in preference to other articles. The offer was rejected.
Following this, the agenda was started.
2- In the 2nd item of the agenda, Afyon Deputy Ali İhsan Sabis' oral question in the Foreign Affairs Singular, since there is no questioner.
3- Erzurum Deputy Bahadır Dülger's oral question from the Transportation Unit was left to the future agenda since the questioner was not present.
4- The oral question of Trabzon Deputy Mahmut Goloğlu and Kayseri Deputy İbrahim Kirazoğlu from the Minister of Public Works was discussed. Singular replied. The questioner, Mahmut Goloğlu, spoke. Another orator took the floor. Tekil made further explanations. Discussion of the issue has been completed.
5- Manisa Deputy Adnan Karaosmanoğlu's verbal question from the Minister of Customs and Monopolies was answered by the Deputy. The questioner spoke. Various orators expressed their opinions. The deputy explained again. Discussion of the issue has been completed.
6- Kastamonu Deputy Hayri Tosunoğlu made a statement and took back his oral question from the Courthouse Singular in the 6th item of the agenda.
7- The verbal question of Trabzon Deputy Mahmut Goloğlu from the Public Works Singular in the 7th item of the agenda was postponed to the next meeting since there was no singular.
Since there was no other item to be discussed on the agenda, the meeting was terminated to be held at 15:00 on Tuesday, February 2, 1954.
