Notes The General Assembly of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group met on Saturday, August 9, 1958, at 10 o'clock, under the chairmanship of Group Deputy Konya Deputy Himmet Ölçmen. The minutes of the last meeting were read; Trabzon Deputy Osman Turan, who spoke about the summary of this minutes, stated that sufficient explanation was not given on the foreign policy issue in the last session and that these negotiations should continue today. After finalizing the minutes; Following the statement of Trabzon Deputy Osman Turan on this issue regarding Middle-East Events and Our Foreign Politics. Deputy of Foreign Affairs Fatin Rüştü Zorlu made extensive and satisfactory explanations about the Baghdad Pact and the phases it went through. Discussion of other issues began. Following Prime Minister Adnan Menderes's speech, which was informative on today's domestic policy stance and was approved by the General Assembly, various orators took the floor and explained their ideas and opinions. In the meantime, it was decided to take a break and meet at 15:00. was given. The second session was opened at 15:00 under the chairmanship of Group Chairman Himmet Ölçmen, and the discussions on domestic policy issues continued. Various orators who spoke on this issue expressed their opinions and discussed the opposition - its destructive attitude in domestic politics, the measures to be taken against it and the T.B.M.M. As a result of the negotiations on the issues of the extraordinary meeting invitation of the Group, upon the approval given, it was decided to organize a commission consisting of 19 people to be elected by the Group Board of Directors and to postpone the meeting to 15 o'clock on Monday, August 11, 1958, to discuss the report to be prepared by this commission.
