The General Assembly of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group met on Thursday, December 10, 1959, at 15:00, under the chairmanship of the Group Deputy, Denizli Deputy Baha Akşit.
The presence of the majority was determined by a roll call and the session was opened.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
Prime Minister Adnan Menderes, Finance Deputy Hasan Polatkan, Commerce Deputy Hayrettin Erkmen, Foreign Affairs Deputy Fatin Rüştü Zorlu and Industry Deputy Sebati Ataman made broad and detailed explanations about domestic, foreign, financial and economic issues and the general policy of the Government.
Following this explanation, which was met with approval, the meeting was finalized to be held on Thursday, 17.12.1959 at 15:00, as it was deemed late.
