Summary of the minutes of the last meeting.
D.P. Parliamentary Group General Assembly on Tuesday, 9.12.1952. It convened on 15th under the chairmanship of President Hulusi Köymen.
As a result of the poll, it was understood that there was a majority, so the combination
opened.
1. The summary of the minutes of the last meeting was read.
2. Before moving on to the agenda, as presentations of the Presidency Council) D.P. The proposal regarding the reconstitution of the Parliamentary Group Specialized Commissions and the retention of the friends elected to these commissions in the last meeting was unanimously accepted.
3. Discussion continued on the question of Afyon Deputy Kemal Özçoban and his friends about the positions of the Members of Parliament in the protocol. The question was answered with the explanation given by Executive Member Mehmet Aldemir on behalf of the Parliament Presidency Council and by the Minister of Internal Affairs on behalf of the Government.
4. The proposal of Konya Deputy A.Fahri Ağaoğlu and his friends dated 2.6.1952 regarding the prohibition of acquisition of political parties while they are in power. It was decided that the principle decisions to be taken by discussing the main principles of this proposal together with the Party General Assembly and the Group Administrative Board and the situation will be entrusted to a commission consisting of specialized experts to be selected by this committee.
5. Manisa Deputy Şemi Ergi's oral question from the Minister of Health, dated 2.5.1952, was postponed to the next meeting since the Minister was not present.
6. Tekirdağ Deputy Şevket Mocan's question dated 2.6.1952 about the fee received from the villagers for construction materials was answered by the Minister of Agriculture.
7. Van Deputy İzzet Akın's oral question from the Prime Minister, dated 4.6.1952, was postponed to the next meeting since there was no questioner.
As it was understood that there was no majority left in the Group during the discussion of articles 7 and 8, the meeting was terminated to meet on Tuesday, 16.12.1952 at 15.00.
