Summary of minutes from the last session:
The General Assembly of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group met on Tuesday, May 17, 1955, at 15:00, under the chairmanship of Muzaffer Kurbanoğlu.
As a result of the poll, it was understood that there was a majority, so the session was opened.
1- The minutes of the last session were read.
2- The memorandums of the Presidency of the General Assembly, dated 12/17 May 1955 and numbered 1087/132-32 and 13005/183-53, regarding the expulsion of Seyhan deputy İsmet Uslu from the Democratic Party and the registration of Istanbul deputy Lütfü Kırdar to the Democratic Party, were read and submitted to the Group.
3- At the end of the classification of the elections for the delegates to participate in the European Consultative Council, there were 345 participants and among the 14 candidates determined by the commission,

And it was understood that the independents and Server Somuncuoğlu (Sinop) were elected by receiving 181 votes.
4- Seyhan deputy Sinan Tekelioğlu's oral question dated 29/4/1955 about the incomplete bridge connecting the highway between Gaziantep and Urfa to Berdece via Murat Stream was read. The Nafia deputy and the questioner spoke. Various orators expressed their opinions. The deputy answered again. Thus, the discussion of the problem was completed.
5- Kırklareli deputy m. Ali Ceyhan's oral question, dated 3/5/1955, about the amount of tin plate imported for white cheese and other foodstuffs produced in our country and the amount of tin needed by the country, was postponed to the next meeting since there was no Minister of Economy and Trade.
6- Erzurum deputy Bahadır Dülger's oral question from the Courthouse and Agricultural Deputies regarding the judicial investigation phase opened against Munip Özer, one of the Agricultural Equipment Institution officers who is in Erzurum on a temporary duty, was postponed to the next meeting as the relevant deputies were not present.
Since there was no other item on the agenda to be discussed, the session was concluded.
