Last meeting minutes
The General Assembly of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group met on Thursday, December 18, 1958, at 15:00, under the chairmanship of the Group Deputy, Bursa Deputy Mazlum Kayalar.
My absence was made. Seeing that there is a majority present, the hearing
opened.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
Moving on to the questions:
Verbal question from the Minister of Finance about the free car importation belonging to Mükerrem Sarol, which is the news of Çorum Deputy Hüseyin Ortakçıoğlu's Yenigün newspaper, which constitutes the first article, and that Safa Kılıçlıoğlu, the owner of Yeni Sabah Newspaper, was given 6000 Dollars for the import of the automobile. The approval of Çorum Deputy Hüseyin Ortakçıoğlu, which has the same meaning as the approval of the request to open negotiations in the Group regarding some allowance and salary increase proposals,
Oral question from the Deputy of Finance about the State Personnel Law Draft, which constitutes the fourth article, from Erzurum Deputy Şevki Erker, and whether it is sufficient to solve the civil servant issue,
The declaration of Nevşehir Deputy Münib Hayri Ürgüplü, which constitutes the fifth article, requests opening of negotiations on the measures regarding the number of civil servants and employees and their increase.
Since the relevant Finance Deputy was giving explanations to the Budget Committee at that time, they were postponed to the next meeting.
Constituting the sixth item on the agenda, Eskişehir Deputy Abidin Potuoğlu's oral question was read from the Industry Deputy about whether the premium received by the beet producer will be given according to the newly determined sugar price. Industry Deputy Sabati Ataman gave the necessary explanation. The owner of the silence thanked and expressed some wishes. Sebati Ataman gave satisfactory answers to these wishes. In this way, the question was answered. The oral question of Gaziantep Deputy Suleyman Kuranel, which constitutes the seventh item of the agenda, was read from the Trade Minister about whether the Meat and Fish Institution still has goods waiting at customs; Trade Minister Hayrettin Erkmen made a statement stating the figures. The questioner took the sauce and expressed his thoughts on preventing the harms of the Institution.
Following this, Prime Minister Adnan Menderes took the floor, explained the will and declared that the damages would be prevented as soon as possible. Thus, the question was answered.
Regarding the eighth item of the agenda, which was the oral question of Adıyaman Deputy Sırrı Turanlı from the Deputy of Health regarding the specialist staff of Adıyaman State Hospital, Deputy of Health Lütfi Kırdar stated that he had just become aware of this question and therefore requested that it be postponed to the next hearing. The question was postponed to the next meeting to be answered.
Since there was no other item to be discussed on the agenda, the meeting was concluded on Thursday, December 25, at 15:00.
