Origin: The copy was examined in 1228 AH. by its owner (f. 39r); however the note appears on leaves written in a different, neater hand and perhaps refers to those leaves rather than the whole item. Shelfmark: MS Or 16. Decoration: Rubrications in red; numerous tables and diagrams throughout. Script: Several different styles of naskh, ranging from large, informal naskh to a smaller, neater naskh. Layout: 12-26 long lines with tables. Leaves 48v-59v are blank. Foliation: Modern foliation added in pencil, upper left recto. Title supplied by cataloger. Manuscript codex. Formerly owned by Muḥammad Amīn al-ʻAṭṭār (note on inside front cover).. On charms, talismans, supernatural protective abilities of different Qur'ānic verses. The copy is written in several different hands and has a number of blank leaves in the middle.
