This painting has been cut out and remounted onto a page from a later manuscript. Probably from Shiraz. Poems on both sides. Contains one illuminated miniature of Layla and Majnun in the wilderness from a manuscript of the Khamsah of Niẓāmī. Catch words, poems divided into 2 columns, black ink. 14 lines per page, nasta'aliq hand with elements of shikastah, rule-borders. A narrative poem. Manuscript..
