On flyleaf, owner's autograph (not identified): min kutub al-faqīr Muḥammad ...[?]; once part of the personal manuscript collection of Sultan Abdülhamid II of Turkey.. Completion of a commentary on a selection of 40 prophetic traditions begun by Birgivî Mehmet Efendi (ca. 1522-1573).
