Includes an affirmation note in Ottoman (f. 428a) containing 10 seal impressions of Qur'an reciters from Istanbul's well-known royal mosques such as Shahzādah, Ayā ṣūfiya, Rustam pāshā, Fātiḥ, madrasah-i Aḥmadiya of ūskūdār. The affirmation declares that it is copied from Ḥāfiẓ Osmān's copy dated 1094 with no errors and mistakes in vocalization and writing. The text is followed by a three pages note in Persian on the importance of vocalization by faqīr Ḥasan . The copy is made from the famous ottoman caligrapher Ḥāfiẓ Osmān's Qur'ān dated 1094 (f. 428a, Ottoman affirmation note). Includes a two pages headpieces richly illuminated. The margins carry marks relating to the division of the text such as 'ashr and ḥizb. The text is enclosed in three red and golden rules. Sūrah-headings in gold and recitation marks in red, catch words. Fully vocalized Naskh script using tarwīs only on the lām. 12 lines per page, brown wove non-European paper of wove texture.
