The calligrapher was the pupil of Darwish 'Alī and was the first to introduce this style of writing into Egypt from Constantinople. Calligrapher's name and calligraphy date from the colophon. on the left side of the text. Comprising an upper and lower lines in large and bold black Thuluth script, remaining lines are in Naskh. 5 lines varies per sheet, Thuluth and Naskh script, vocalized, black ink.
