Decoration: Headpiece in gold (now greenish), blue and pink; gold roundels mark verse endings; textblock border-ruled in wide gold; readings in red. Script: Written in naskh in black ink; pointed, vocalized. Layout: 7 long lines; catchwords every verso, lower left; border-ruled. Title supplied by cataloger. Manuscript codex. Also available as a digital facsimile.. Devotional book chiefly containing selections from the Qurʼān including sūrat Yā Sīn, al-Fatḥ, al-Mulk, al-Nabāʼ, and al-Takāthur through al-Nās inclusive, these are followed by several individual verses and prayers; the text concludes with al-Fātiḥah and another prayer.
