Persian customs stamps solar dated 1312 (1933 CE) (f. [0]r, 182v); note in black ink f. 182v. Shelfmark: MS Or 3. Origin: Copy completed in Rabīʻ al-Thānī 1097 AH (1686 CE) (f. 182r). Decoration: Diagrams in red; overlining and rubrications in red. Script: Written in nastaʻlīq in black ink, pointed. Layout: Written in 23 lines per page. Title from colophon (f. 182r). Manuscript codex. Also available as a digital facsimile. Formerly owned by David Eugene Smith (signature in pencil, f. 182v).. Commentary on the Zīj-i jadīd-i Sulṭānī which comprises tables of calendar calculations, trigonometry, planets, and stars. Space has been left for some missing diagrams and others have been tipped in.
