A treatise on hunting and various kinds of game. First bāb contains an alphabetical list of principal animals with concise descriptions of their properties and habits. Catch words, marginal notes and correction on the glosses. Text is divided into a muqaddīmah (page 4), three bābs (pages 23, 86, 91), and a very short khātima (page 95). 15 lines per page, Indian naskh and nasta'līq., rubricated. Title and copy date from the colophon. Manuscript. Stamp of Casey Wood on the verso of the last page. An explanatory note by Ivanow describes the manuscript with his signature dated in 1927 indicating it was purchased in Calcutta..
