Laid in: letter from Dr. Neligan, through whom the manuscript was purchased in Persia. folio.223 blank, a few leaves damaged. According to the colophon on f.125-126 Book II was transcribed from the examplar of Ismā'īl ibn al-Ḥasan al-Ḥusaynī who in turn copied it from the author's holograph. Numerous notabilia indicated by the letters F or Ṣ (initial suspended form) or both. Copied from the examplar dated 576/1180 or 596/1199 in 975/1567. Red and black rule-borders. Complete in five Books. 46 lines per page, 405 ff, rubricated, includes marginal corrections and glosses. Copy date from the colophon, Fine, laid Oriental paper, small Indian Nasta'alīq hand. Variant of title from Bibliotheca Osleriana. Manuscript. Also available on microfilm (Osler Microforms, Micro film 182). Manuscript comes from the Library of Sir Willian Osler through Dr. M.
