Notes Shelfmark: MS Or 327. Origin: Item is undated, but perhaps copied in the 14th or 15th century. Decoration: Gold florets with red and blue dots mark verse endings. Circular marginal medallions in gold, blue and red mark text partitions. Sūrah titles in gold. A piece of paper with the title for al-Furqān in gold has been added to the bottom of the last leaf (f. 33r). Script: Written in naskh in black ink; pointed, vocalized. Layout: 7 long lines with top and bottom line written larger. Manuscript codex.. Fragment of the Qurʼān including the end of al-Furqān, all of al-Shuʻarāʼ and the beginning of al-Naml (25:63 to 27:58).
