Notes Related to MSP leaf 73B. This scribe, Mullā Mīr 'Alī of Hirāt, (d. 1518) known as "The Illustrious," served his apprenticeship as a pupil of Mullā Zainuddīn of Nīshāpūr. He subsequently imitated and developed the style of another famous calligrapher, Mullā 'Alī of Mashhad (d. 1504) Written on both sides. Illuminated gold and polychrom front piece. Catch words, poems divided into 2 columns, black ink. Single leaf detached from Taymūrnāmah. 9-15 lines per page, nasta'aliq hand with elements of shikastah, rule-borders.
