Notes Note describing the manuscript, called No. 2, laid in. Each leaf has been placed between sheets of loosely woven tissue through which the writing remains clearly visible. Shelfmark: MS Or 330 - FOLIO. Origin: Item is undated; possibly copied in the 13th or 14th century. Decoration: Every tenth verse marked with a large rosette with a yellow center; yellow spiral shaped marginal medallions; sūrah heading in yellow; rubrications in red, including readings. Script: Written in early Abbasid new style; pointed, vocalized. Layout: 17 long lines. Manuscript codex.. Excerpt from the Qurʼān including the end of Āl-ʻImrān verse 85 through al-Nisāʼ verse 12 (3:85-4:12).
