Ownership statement (f.1a) for Ḥakīm Sayyid Murtaḍā Ṣāḥib. Includes two seals of ownership (f.1a): 1. Kalb Ḥasan Ithnā 'Asharī dated 1246 [1830], 2. Sayyid 'Abd al-'Alī Khān. Text is a version of al-Jawharī's Tāj al-lughah giving Persian equivalents of Arabic words. Rule-borders, folios 1-4 and 441-444 supplied later. Catch words, marginal glosses, rubricated. 24 lines per page, fine, laid Oriental paper, elegant Bihārī script. Title and author's name from the first page.
